Glaciären – Ett bibliotek med ljus
I anslutning till den nya stadsdelen Kvillebäcken på Hisingen i centrala Göteborg har Glaciären uppförts. Ett innovativt kontorshus med fasad i glas som ändrar färg efter solljusets styrka.
I biblioteksdelen använder man sig av prioGRID 70-50 systemet med modul 600×1200 mm från Caleidoscope. Funktionsundertaket prioGRID 70-50 bygger på det patenterade fixPOiNT systemet, men har skalats ned till ett elegant, lätt och funktionellt undertak med mått profilmåtten B70xH50 mm.
Som allmänljus används prioBEAM LED opal armaturer. Armaturerna monterades dels på 3-fas skenor utefter glaspartierna i lokalen och som infälld armatur i prioGRID funktionsundertaket.
När man vandrar runt i biblioteket slås man av balansen mellan exteriör- och interiörljus. Hela biblioteket har ett mjukt behagligt kontrastomfång och materialvalen harmoniserar med belysningen. Man inbjuds till att falla tillbaks i någon av de fina möblerna, men populärast verkar fönsterplatserna vara.
Armaturerna balanserar upp det infallande utomhusljuset väl och skapar en bra läsmiljö.
